Committees

Most of the members of the Millersburg Christian Church participate on one of the functional committees that help plan the worship, education, property, stewardship, mission, evangelism and membership ministries of the church.  This is an enjoyable experience for those who participate by working together to enhance the work of the congregation.  The committees meet quarterly on a Sunday afternoon following a fellowship dinner.

The congregation is an open and energetic community, accepting you as you are.  Search with us.  We are not the only Christians, but Christians only.  We have no creed but Christ and no book but the Bible.  Where the scriptures speak we speak, and where the scriptures are silent we are silent.  We accept diversity and are congregationally governed.

We celebrate communion each week and everyone is welcome to participate.

Because of our respect for the beliefs of others, many people have found the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) a good “compromise” for families with divergent denominational backgrounds.
