NOTICE:

Due to the corona virus, Millersburg Christian Church has temporarily suspended physical Sunday morning worship services and other activities. HOWEVER, we meet via the Zoom communications platform each Sunday morning during this crisis. Zoom does not cost any of the participants anything; you just have to have access to the internet, either via your phone or a computer. The Rev Bob Green sends an email to all church members/friends on Fridays that has a link to the Zoom “session” specifically for MCC. Please click on that link before 10:30am Sunday morning, because at 10:30am, Rev Patricia will begin an on-line, video church service that will include a sermon, discussion, communion, and perhaps a song or two. You do not need to have the camera on your device turned on, but if you do, Rev Patricia and other participants will be able to see you.

Remember to remain faithful to your financial commitments to the church during this time. MCC cancelled a recent fundraising event, and a $4,500 infrastructure project has been completed (we addied a paved handicap parking space in the back parking lot at the church and repaired the cracked, sloping sidewalk). Pledges/donations can be mailed to the church or made via a secure Paypal connection by clicking on the “Donation” tab at the top of this page.

Stay safe and healthy. And we will try to keep everyone in the loop via FB posts, our website, and emails.

Millersburg Christian Church is now a Green Chalice congregation (www.greenchalice.org): The Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) is a movement for wholeness in a fragmented world. Out of our call to “do justice” (Micah 6:8), we strive to demonstrate the fullness of God’s shalom through living out our faith by caring for God’s creation. Come and join us!

A few pics from the Dec 9, 2020, annual Cookie Exchange. Rules: bring 3 dozen cookies–one dozen to eat, two dozen to trade. (Next year, we are thinking about a vegetable exchange. What do you think?)
Some pics from our March 9, 2019, St. Patrick’s fundraiser: corned beef and cabbage dinner and silent auction. And a real live leprechaun!

Sunday, Feb 3, we “blessed” member Stan Adams’ book, “Mokane to Mole City”, which chronicles his year-long tour of duty with the US Army in Vietnam, Nov 1968 to Nov 1969, and the brotherhood that developed with the other young men, the Manchus, with whom he served through horrific experiences.
